Every room has a unique style
Our conference premises in Stora diakonisshuset are all high-ceilinged, with large windows and fine views over Djurgården, Stockholm’s inlet, or the church or hospital park. But that's where the similarities end. Every room has its own unique interior, layout and decoration. We have a room with its own balcony, and another with its own common room and WC.
Private lounge and conference rooms
Five of our conference rooms are located in a more recent extension, and have been designed and decorated to be more like traditional conference facilities. These rooms have a shared lounge and are popular for training, workshops and lectures where it's useful to have several rooms together in a private section.
Full service and complementary businesses
In addition to our conference hosts, who make sure that your conference or meeting is exactly how you envisaged it, we can also provide complementary businesses just a few metres away.
Our restaurant, Ersta terrass, offers well-balanced dishes made with seasonal and local ingredients, and can provide everything from conference lunches to dinners and parties. Wine tasting is a popular activity that we can organise together with our wine supplier.
We also have access to Ersta kyrka (church), which is a perfect assembly place for reflection or a musical conclusion to a long conference day. The church park, with its lawns and shady trees, is a popular spot on warm days. It isn't possible to book the public park, but if your group isn't too big there's usually space for games, a picnic or similar activities.
Ersta museum, with its exhibition "Staden på berget – Ersta diakoni ser människan" is popular as a break-time visit or part of the day in the form of a guided tour. Only your imagination can set the limits of what we can help you to organise together with our various partners and operations within Ersta diakoni.
