Norrbysalen is named after Johhnes Norrby, director at Ersta diakoni during 1910-1936. From the begining the room was used as a dinning room, with three big tables. On the middle one sat the deaconess and priests, near the window sat the sisters and close to wall sat the students. When the operation grew and they needed more seats at the table they also used the room next door, nowadays called Bringsalen. The magnificent crystal chandelier hanging in Norrbysalen was donated to Ersta deaconess in 1940.
Nowadays Norrbysalen is our most booked local and is often used for courses and lectures of different kinds. The room offers good technology and can be furnished after your needs.
